Today I remembered about one famous legendary philosopher somewhere from Middle East named Nasreddin (sometimes called Hodja/Mullah), a wise man with funny stories and his "uniqueness", whose stories i used to read with my English teacher when I was in highschool. So I was browsing about his stories then, and found one that I like..

One day, Hodja and his son went on a journey once. Hodja preferred to let his son ride the donkey while he walked. Along the way, they passed some people who said:
- Look at that healthy young boy on the donkey! That’s today’s youth for you! They have no respect for their elders! He rides while his poor father walks!
The words made the boy feel very ashamed, and he insisted that his father ride while he walked. So Hodja climbed on the donkey and the boy walked by his side. Soon they met another group.
- Well, look at that! Poor little boy has to walk while his father rides the donkey, they exclaimed.
This time, Hodja climbed onto the donkey behind his son. Soon they met another group, who said,
- Look at that poor donkey! He has to carry the weight of two people.
Hodja then told his son,
- The best thing is for both of us to walk. Then no one can complain.
So they continued their journey on foot. Again they met some others who said:
- Just take a look at those fools. Both of them are walking under this hot sun and neither of them is riding the donkey!
In exasperation, Hodja lifted the donkey onto his shoulders and said,
- Come on, if we don’t do this, it will be impossible to make people stop talking.

one of quotes of the bible that i like most. but yet, sometimes it’s hard to put into practice. i’m still worrying about lots of things.

dari hal penting - sampe hal2 gak penting. padahal kt menyadari kalau semua itu seringkali tidak terjadi. kekuatiran hanya ada di dalam benak, hasil dari prediksi dan analisa otak seorang manusia yang sangat terbatas.

seringkali dimana kt menemukan masalah yg tidak ada jalan keluarnya, disaat kt sudah berputus asa, disaat kt sudah capek memohon dan berdoa, disaat detik2 dan ambang depresi….. miracles happened. problems solved.

luckily, i’m grateful that i myself and some of my friends adl orang yang mengalami hal tersebut… meskipun seringkali tak menyadarinya.
di hari ini aku tersadar dan berhenti sesaat, menoleh kebelakang dan melihat apa yang telah terjadi, dan aku bersyukur… sangat…

new office… hmmm akhirnya pindah juga ke sudirman plaza… rencananya dari awal taon kemaren ini kantor mau pindah kaga kesampean terus.
ternyata mayan juga nih kantor, lebih terang, suasananya lebih cozy, akses transport lebih gampang, tempat maen lebih banyak… yang berarti pengeluaran bakal lebih banyak juga… (sigh)

1 sate ayam jogja
1 burger mini
2 sate lilit taliwang
1 es lilin anggur
1 porsi nasi liwet komplit
1 serabi solo coklat
1/2 porsi kerak telor
1 kue apem manado
1 kue lapis menado
1 donat kentang
cicipan-cicipan lainnya yang tak bisa dihitung…

gosh !! i can’t believe it !!

sometimes i ask myself
is this the life that i want?
am i happy now?

i feel there’s something missing inside me
i don’t know what it is…

slowly when we find out they are not as imagined
we feel sorry, we feel angry, we feel dissapointed…

people tend to perceive something in their mind
based on what they want and what they expect
they create it so beautiful, and perfect from their viewpoint
but isn’t it only in their mind?

…and maybe we are searching for love
the ideal one according to our mind
of which it never exist…

lucu ya, sering orang tuh baik kalau ada maksud tertentu
disaat dia membutuhkan sesuatu, dia bisa menjadi kawan baikmu
disaat kau tidak dibutuhkan, maka kau seolah-olah tidak ada…

akhir-akhir ini gw merasa ada temen gw yg seperti itu
jadi sedih aja, padahal dulunya gw anggap dia salah satu temen baik gw
memang sih ada pepatah
semakin kita mengenal orang lebih dalam
semakin kita mengetahui banyak hal mengenai orang tersebut
terutama hal-hal yg tidak baik

tapi gw ambil segi positif nya aja deh
gw jadi tau siapa yg bener-bener temen dan mana yg bukan
gw juga belajar, jangan sampe ngelakuin hal kayak gini ke temen-temen gw
belajar untuk menjadi seorang teman yang baik…

baru2 ini gw nemuin blog seseorang secara nggak sengaja. awalnya gw baca hanya sekilas, lama2 gw tertarik untuk baca semua blog dia. blog yang sangat menarik (probably one of the best blog i’ve ever read).

blog itu menceritakan sebagian kecil hidupnya, sebagian kecil gejolak emosi, ungkapan hati dan perasaan mellow-nya.
blog yang bener2 "menyentuh" gw..
yang mana bikin gw larut di dalamnya..
yang mana bikin hati gw ikut nangis..
so sweet, so romantic, and yet so sad..

blog yang bikin gw penasaran akan ceritanya yang walaupun sekilas terlihat ringan, namun penuh arti yang lebih mendalam… sangat dalam bahkan…
blog yang bikin otak gw berpikir penasaran dan menebak-nebak situasi apa yang sebenarnya terjadi
blog yang bikin gw ikut merasa mellow dan mendorong gw untuk merenungkan apa makna hidup dan cinta, mencintai, dicintai, dan mensyukuri,
serta hubungannya dengan realita kehidupan
yang tidak selalu berjalan mulus
di mata kita…

duh kangen blogging nih… udah lama juga ya… dari kemaren-kemaren padahal pengen banget nulis blog, banyak ceritaan dan banyak tempat makan yang perlu dicritain… tapi mo mulei darimana kagak tau saking kebanyakan dan otak gw kepenuhan… jadi gw delete aja deh biar memori otak gw kagak full haha

gara-gara IT kantor gw nih rese bgt… satu persatu di-blok-in, mulei dari frenster lah, meebo lah, ampe yang paling parah masa yahoo mail sama hotmail juga diblok? alesannya ngabisin bandwith!!! nonsense bgt tuh, padahal mereka sendiri pastinya yang suka download-in file file gak penting dengan dalih untuk keperluan IT… emangnya gw gak tau? (*nada menuduh hehehe)
